Set up an agency workspace

Organize client projects and teammate access without crossing workspace boundaries.

Last updated 2026-08-07

What you'll achieve

  • Separate client projects by workspace
  • Give teammates explicit roles
  • Create a repeatable client deployment path

Choose the ownership boundary

Create or select the workspace that should own the client project. A workspace is the tenant boundary for projects, databases, secrets, deployments, billing, and operational evidence. Do not place unrelated clients in a shared personal workspace merely for convenience.

Add the project and team

  1. Create the client project inside the selected workspace.
  2. Invite only the teammates who need access.
  3. Use developer for day-to-day project work and admin only when the person must manage workspace-level settings. Keep owner access limited.
  4. Complete the developer quickstart for the first client release.

Verify isolation

Switch to another workspace and confirm that the client project is not visible. BlinkHost returns not found for resources outside the active member's tenant instead of revealing that they exist.

Agency white-label and portfolio capabilities are plan- and rollout-dependent. Check the current pricing catalog before promising them to a client.
